Gaza: Doctors Under Attack is a forensic investigation into the impact of Israeli military operations on Gaza’s healthcare system.

This urgent documentary examines evidence of widespread destruction across the territory’s medical infrastructure, where all 36 main hospitals have reportedly been damaged or destroyed. Hundreds of healthcare workers - including doctors and surgeons - are known to have been killed, injured or detained, with some alleging imprisonment and mistreatment.

The documentary shows that, amid relentless bombardment, Gaza’s medical professionals continue to treat patients in severely under-resourced and often unsafe conditions. The film offers a harrowing account of courage, loss and endurance, illuminating the role of frontline workers in one of the world’s most precarious humanitarian contexts.

The post-screening Q&A will be held with:

Ben de Pear - an award-winning journalist and filmmaker, founder of Basement Films, and former Editor of Channel 4 News. He has produced acclaimed documentaries including the Oscar-nominated For Sama and Gaza: Doctors Under Attack.

Karim Shah - an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker whose work spans international conflict and current affairs. He is the director of Gaza: Doctors Under Attack and has directed and produced films for PBS Frontline, Channel 4, and other major broadcasters.

Dr Khaled Dawas - Consultant Surgeon (UCLH) & Hon Associate Professor (UCL), who's been on emergency medical missions to Gaza.
